Environment
The increasing awareness of environment-related issues and
the benefits of enhancing and protecting the environment have
led to the growth in environmental law, not just in developed
nations but also in Singapore and the region. As the volume
and complexity of laws relating to protection and management
of the environment increase, the potential exposure to environmental
liability has become an issue of critical importance.
Led by one of the few recognised environmental lawyers in
Singapore, our practice includes advice on compliance with
environmental regulations and contamination issues, applications
for permits and licences, protection from or limitation of
risks and liability for environmental issues, particularly
in mergers and acquisitions transactions, land-use due diligence,
and advice for each stage of a facility life cycle.
